Keep a close eye on your win to hands played ratio when playing online poker
We all know there are differences to playing online Poker as opposed to live play but do you really know them all. ? Recently while playing in a $50 dollar freeroll I made an all inn bet with pocket aces, something I really do not do (as I see it as a lottery play) but as it was only a freeroll I pushed all my chips in and received just one caller with pocket kings, which is another frequent occurrence in online play when you have kings watch for aces, any way my aces got busted when the flop revealed a king, but that’s not the whole story of this hand or why I strongly believe my aces lost and to find it we have to go back to the start of the tournament a $50 freeroll ten player tables with 1500 players entered, now previous to the hand I had won an unprecedented eight hands out of twelve poker hands. Now in every hand I won I had actually hit the Absolute nutz on the flop turn or river and on each occasion had pushed all in looking for a caller or a player with possibly a small pair or draw or maybe a player thinking I was bluffing due to so many all in bets, as it happened there were none during these hands and hardly any chips had been gained with these great hands, needless to say I was taking some abuse by other players due to so many all inn bets, being called the usual taunts like donkey or idiot which are common when a player makes these types of moves frequently, anyway i strongly believe i lost with my aces due to my hand win ratio being way to hi, as the odds say I should win an average 1 in ten hands over time of course but to win 8 out of twelve my aces where doomed from the start and I was totally not surprised to lose the hand at all, so my advise watch your win to hands played ration and remember it's not how many hands you win it is the quality of the hand you win that can be the difference between winning and losing at texas hold'em poker.
